Re-opening
The Fort Dauphin Museum is now open to visitors! We are excited to be reopening and seeing our visitors again, and to share our history and stories about the heritage and the community we live in.
We understand the devastating effect this pandemic has had on everyone and we want to make sure that the Fort Dauphin Museum is a safe environment for our staff and our visitors. Staff will wear masks for visitors protection, new sanitation and cleaning procedures will be implemented before, during and after visitor arrivals, and we ask all visitors to wear masks indoors and to social distance.
So now, we are getting all our buildings and artifacts clean and sanitized. Ensure that signs, barriers, and visitor pathways are marked allowing for safe physical distancing and flow through the exhibits. We are also working on bringing new exhibits into our galleries.
In order to limit the number of visitors and groups, group sizes will be limited to 5 household members. Our hours are Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 4 pm by appointment only. Call our office at 204 638-6630 to reserve your date and time.
We will be posting updates when they come. We look forward to your visit!
